JOB SUMMARY
The Marketing Executive will collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop and implement strategic and performance-driven marketing initiatives that align with Airline's goals. The focus will be on driving revenue growth through flight bookings and ancillary services such as meals, seat selection, and baggage upgrades, while enhancing Airline the preferred Airline. This role demands a proactive and innovative approach to brand-building, partnerships, and digital marketing strategies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Strategy & Planning
- Manage specific regions or hubs by crafting and executing strategic and tactical marketing plans.
- Take ownership of revenue enhancement efforts across flights and ancillary products within assigned markets.
- Drive awareness through trade presentations and foster local partnerships to create regional impact and expand reach.
2. Campaign Development & Execution
- Be the main point of contact (POC) for planning and executing integrated campaigns, coordinating with internal teams (e.g., Brand, Social Media, Ancillary Revenue, PR, and Partnerships).
- Execute Above The Line (ATL) and Below The Line (BTL) campaigns, events, and promotional launches for new routes, services, or ancillary offerings.
- Work with creative teams and external agencies to produce high-impact campaigns aligned with Jazeera Airways' brand identity.
3. Local Webpage Management
- Collaborate with the Global Marketing Team to manage and update the local webpage, ensuring content relevance for local markets.
- Regularly provide localized content, promotions, and announcements to align with regional trends and customer preferences.
4. Data-Driven Decision Making
- Measure campaign performance, monitoring KPIs such as customer acquisition cost, ROI, and indirect benefits (e.g., increased brand engagement or web traffic).
- Report campaign effectiveness and propose actionable improvements during weekly performance reviews.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Network Planning, Digital Marketing, and Ancillary Revenue, as well as design and operations departments, to execute impactful campaigns.
- Align with global brand guidelines while tailoring initiatives to regional market demands.
6. Market Research & Innovation
- Stay informed about the latest trends in aviation and marketing, and introduce innovative ideas to attract new customer segments.
- Conduct market research to uncover new opportunities for growth and differentiation in competitive markets.
7. Brand Integrity & Communication
- Ensure consistent adherence to Jazeera Airways’ brand guidelines across all marketing touchpoints.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on campaign progress, program deliverables, and key milestones.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Increase in bookings and ancillary product revenue from the assigned markets.
- Improved customer engagement metrics (e.g., website traffic, social media interactions).
- Establishment of strong local partnerships and positive feedback from trade presentations.
- Timely and relevant updates to the local webpage, driving engagement and maintaining local market relevance.
- Consistent delivery of campaigns on-time and within budget.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Key Qualifications
Education:
- MBA or Post-Graduate Degree in Marketing from a recognized institution.
Experience:
- A minimum of 4 years of B2C marketing experience, ideally in industries such as aviation, travel, or retail.
- Proven success in managing marketing campaigns with internal teams and external agencies under tight timelines and budgets.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication abilities, with fluency in English (additional language skills are advantageous).
- Ability to thrive in a multicultural, fast-paced environment while handling multiple responsibilities.
Technical Expertise:
- Proficient in tracking ROI, customer acquisition cost, and campaign performance metrics.
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and tools, particularly for campaign optimization and analysis.
